Not sure if anyone has tried the Franklin street hockey ball (hot weather) but I've ordered one and I also bought 3 eighth inch mallet heads. When they arrive i will bring them along if anyone wants to buy one off me.
I'm interested to see and use the Franklin ones, they're liquid filled. I thought is was to make them behave more like a hockey puck (which would be pucked) but if eighth inch is selling them as polo balls they must handle ok.
The liquid filled ones play like a bag of Sh#t. Drill a hole in 'em and drain out the liquid...a better ball for sure. Standard Franklin Reds are "magic" but out of stock from Franklin at the moment. My 2c worth. Also check http://www.leagueofbikepolo.com/forum/gear/balls/2010/03/26/polo-specific-ball-a-topic-for-discussion
